Here we have a great example of a Yamaha YZF1000R Thunder Ace on a 1996 (N) with 41,247 miles on the clock. This old girl is the original YZF prior to Yamaha launching the R1 soon after, which sadly made a decline in sales for the Thunder Ace. Now however, as they are a very cheap example to come by, people are beginning to realise that these are a fantastic bit of kit, strong, sturdy and stable, very capable of hitting triple digits, but all around a much more comfortable alternative. This model has had some alterations including high rise Renthal Fat Bars making it even more comfortable on the wrists. It also has a stainless full exhaust system, a fully tinted screen, Fazer braided brake lines, an exup delete and in the last 500 miles she has received a new tyre, new brake pads, along with a new chain with sprockets. As part of our service we will give it a lubrication service, change the other tyre to match, and fit brake pads, so all are tip top.
