Chris - The Owner

Chris is the founder of Motorbike One. An avid motorcycle enthusiast and rider with over 15 years in the motorcycle trade. Motorbike One has been a dream of Chris' for over a decade and in June 2024 he decided it would become the reality.

Chris is a big guy with a big heart! He will do anything for anyone, a family orientated person and loyalty is his code.

In a past life......he's getting old, what can I say, Chris played football to a very high standard, as well as being a very accomplished MMA fighter, many, many, many years ago now!

He has two Children, a keen Golfer, and a motorcycle nut, so if you can relate to any of those, you've probably just made a new friend!

Chris is at the shop most days buying bikes, selling bikes and generally on hand to offer free help and advice.

He doesn't bite so when you're next at the shop, say hi!

James The Mechanic - (Motorcycle Services)

Many bikers around the Huddersfield area will have come across our fantastic mechanic James, as he had his own workshop, under the arches in the centre of Huddersfield for around 25 years. That was of course Motorcycle Services.

James is a veteran on the spanners and ensures that all of Motorbike One's stock is checked over, serviced and ready for their new homes and new owners!

If you've ever met James you'll know is straight to the point, no waffle, no if's or buts, this is what it is.......and we wouldn't want him any other way - a spade is definitely a spade with our James!

He is meticulous, careful, and very knowledgeable in anything with two wheels, so he is the perfect chap to have looking after the stock bikes and all of our customer bikes that come in for service and repairs!

James is a keen golfer, skier and gamer, with many hours spent doing all of his favourite activities. He's also a keen cook as well, his Lasagna & Chilli are immense.......it's truly a great day when James brings the lunches in!
