Here we have a custom build Yamaha XVS 125 on a 2003 (03) plate showing 11,783 miles on the clock. It's hard to believe this bike is a learner legal 125 that you can ride from 17 years old, on a provisional licence and a CBT! The bike was supplied and built by the guys down at Twin Things and they have done a fantastic job making this bike look amazingly well with a full, made to order custom build. We are selling this bike on behalf of a friend of the shop, and he is the chap that spec'd the bike even down to the colour of the seat and grips. He has spec'd the overall look, colour every detail on the bike so there is a colour change on the bike as well as a new lock set. As you can see it is a full custom job, and the build was £5,500, which allowed our customer to choose the colour, which he went for traditional silver finish, matched with brown trimmings, white wall tyres and spoked wheels, slash cut exhausts, exhaust wraps, bullet chrome indicators, hard tail frame, full powder coat, custom slim fenders, wide colour coded handlebars, upgraded headlight and tail light, chrome fuel cap (on a separate key). The bike has a low frame height making it accessible for riders of various heights / sizes. The bike is advertised as a Trade Sale, sold as seen / running project. It does have a current MOT however, under inspection in our workshop the bike will require a new frame at some point. The original sales price was £2,995 but after speaking with the owner, he has agreed to reduce the price to the current sales price to accommodate £200 - £300 for a new frame to be purchased and for time to do the swap over.
